Sharone will be playing the title role of Medina in a workshop of a new musical called Salaam Medina by recent Kleban Prize winner Rona Siddiqui, presented by Playwrights Horizons. The workshop will have 2 presentations on June 6th and June 7th, 2024. Please contact me if you'd like to attend.

Sharone has been chosen as a 2023 Fellow by The Workshop. As part of her fellowship, she will be reading and singing an excerpt of her new piece, The Goldsmith: a treasury of stories woven through the golden jewelry that has been passed down through Sharone's family; across countries, borders, and generations. Sharone most recently played the role of Bonnie in the Broadway company of Come From Away before the show closed on October 2, 2022. Sharone is very excited to be working on the Escape to Margaritaville workshop, after being a part of the first reading of the show in December 2015. Escape to Margaritaville is being directed by Christopher Ashley, with music and lyrics by Jimmy Bufet, book by Greg Garcia and Mike O'Malley, and Choreography by Kelly Devine. The workshop is being presented by La Jolla playhouse. Showings will be held July 28th - 29th.
Sharone is honored to be playing the title role in Scheherazade, a new musical with book and lyrics by Jason Grote and music by Marisa Michelson. Scheherazade is a contemporary re-telling of Jason Grote's play One Thousand and One and will be directed by Erin Ortman, choreographed by Darrell Grand Moultrie, and produced by Prospect Theater Company. Showings will be held July 14 - 17th.
Sharone had an awesome time playing Farja, one of the leads in a reading of the new musical How to Create a Young Girl, written by Laura Barati and TJ Rubin, and Directed by Marlo Hunter at the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. She is thrilled to be working alongside fellow cast members and friends Allison Strong and Joel Perez! The industry only presentation as held on Tuesday, May 3rd 2016.
Sharone had a blast performing in The world premiere of The Wildness at Ars Nova. PlayCo, Ars Nova, and Sky-Pony collaborated on a new rock-theater-event, directed by Tony nominee Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park with George), written by Drama Desk winner and Tony nominee Lauren Worsham (Gentleman’s Guide) and her husband and OBIE winner Kyle Jarrow (The SpongeBob Musical). Sharone played the role of Daisy in a reading of a new musical called WARPED (The Untold Story of The Super...Mario), an origin story parodying the original Super Mario Bros. games. WARPED was directed by Stephen Edlund, written by Danny Rooney, and Sharone also contributed to the book material. Sharone just returned to NYC from Fort Myers, Florida where she played Aouda in Florida Rep's production of Around the World in 80 Days! The show ran February 10th - March 4th, 2015. Set designer Yoon Bae was also nomiated for her beautiful set! A big congratulations to everyone at SJ Rep and especially director Rick Lombardo and playwright Anupama Chandrasekhar.
